Get Your Brand In Order

Identify all the things you need – that aren’t just your logo – for a strong, consistent brand.

Look, I’ll get straight to it. Brand strategy is not design. Nor is it copywriting. It’s an insights-driven plan that is designed to drive your business forward. It’s more than aesthetics and feel-good words. Which, yeah, they’re a big part of, but they’re not the whole picture.

I emphatically believe you as a business owner should be the one owning your strategy. You needn’t outsource the strategy for your business to someone outside your business. Because when you own your strategy you live and breathe it every day to drive your brand forward.

But Melissa, I don’t know how to create my brand strategy!” ?

No troubles, bubbles. I gotchu.

I’m here to help you #ownyourstrategy, so you can build a strong, consistent brand

Beware the glitz and glamour that is the creative side of branding. It’s important, don’t get me wrong, but on it’s own it’s not strategy. There are three core parts to any good strategy:

U

Understand the Challenge

Before you can build a strategy, you have to first know what challenge you need to address. You do this by analysing what’s going on in the environment you operate in.

Create a brand blueprint

This part of building a strategy is about creating a framework, so you can stay on-brand and deliver your promise consistently. Brand personality, tone of voice, value proposition, offer and messaging all come in here.

z

Build an action plan

No strategy is complete without a clear action plan. This part of the process takes all those juicy insights and your brand blueprint to create a plan for taking your brand to market. A marketing plan that aligns with your business objectives is part of this stage.

Are you picking up what I'm putting down here?

? Thinking of Pivoting? ?

During times of crisis it’s easy to panic and make swift decisions based on emotions (like fear). I created a workbook to help you validate some of those decisions, to make sure they’re aligned with your longer term brand vision.

Name your price.

Just WhoTF do I think I am?

Hey, I’m Melissa. I’ve been marketing for almost 20 years, managing some of Australia’s biggest and most-loved brands.

I’ve worked on brands with budgets big and small, so I know that it doesn’t matter how much you spend in advertising dollars or how schmick your website is – if you’re not clear about your brand, you won’t get the growth you’re looking for.

I also know that a ‘strategy’ that doesn’t align with your business objectives won’t get your brand anywhere. And it isn’t a strategy at all.

I’m passionate about helping brand owners like you get all up in their own business. Clarity, strategy, action. That’s what this game is all about  ???⬇️

Friends say I’m quirky, creative, caring and positive. Clients say…

If you’re in search for a great brand strategist, Melissa is the person you're looking for. I've rarely worked with someone who’s so capable, lovely to work with, supportive even after your project is formally over, and happy to go the extra mile when delivering.

Thank you Melissa for your professionalism, support and overall great personality 🙂

Working with Melissa was an absolute delight. She is very professional yet easy going, has a great sense of humour and masters her domain.

Starting the process, I wasn't even sure what I wanted my brand to represent, and through working with Melissa, I've managed to get a clear picture of who I am (as my brand), who my target is and what does it all mean. My Brand Book covered everything I needed to go ahead and start my branding work i.e logo design, website design, social media presence etc. I've handed it to both my graphic designer and my website developer and they just 'got' it.
